The Webmaster: My name is Hayley, I am in my 30’s and live Birmingham, UK. I have been running fan sites on and off since 2004. I love starting them up, building the galleries and giving 100% into making sure they are updated as much as I can (plus giving great picture exclusives, im pretty damn good at that lol!). I’m a firm believer in having my sites non-profit, meaning I do not make any money off of them. So the money spent in getting pictures, hosting the site and paying for the domain name all comes out my hard-earned wage. If i do get monetary donations, they will 100% go onto hosting competitions for the fans.
You may remember a Nicola fansite years ago, called Nicola Roberts UK. This was a fansite i had built and had for a number of years before my paid host decided to lose my entire website & gallery in Oct 2014 and i didn’t have the time to start over. I was truly gutted to lose a site that i dedicated years of my life on. Nicola knew about the site, and having to close it really broke my heart. My love for Nicola and her voice has never stopped, so i knew i had to make another fansite for her.
In 2021, Nicola Roberts Media was born!
I also founded GirlsAloudMedia.com forum for 10 years (closed in 2014 – who remembers it?) until the band split up. The forum was a huge success, more than i ever imagined and i still miss the community a lot, however hard it was to manage somedays! I still believe i closed it at the right time, but proud at what i achieved in the fandom, and like to think i played a massive part of it.
